ONLINE COMMUNITIES AND SOCIAL MEDIA

Many ICG Advisory Board members are substantially engaged with the topic of online communities and social media in their research and respective administrative roles.  Driven by this exposure, ICG frequently presents on strategic issues regarding online communities and social media at conferences such as AIEC, CASE, CBIE, and EAIE.

Client engagements include a competitor analysis of online community software solution providers, the design of an internal alumni community platform connecting to external communities, and an analytical report on Web 2.0 tools.  In addition, ICG frequently runs customized seminars on the strategic impact of online communities on the positioning and external perception of respective educational organizations.

The Practice Area is headed by Dr. Max Senges (bio) (e-mail).
