ICG's consultants and researchers have studied, researched, and served as administrators and lecturers at Bonn University, Harvard University, the Max-Planck-Institute for Human Studies, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, Universität Freiburg, the University of Auckland, the University of Oxford, and the University of Washington.

 

Our consultants and researchers can draw on a highly diversified set of experiences, including running International Offices, service in consulting firms such as the Boston Consulting Group and PwC, work for governmental agencies, and a range of other roles within higher education institutions.

Member Biograhies

 

Ms. Sabrina Dax

 

Ms. Dax serves as a Program Manager at the Harvard Center for European Studies in Berlin. She previously worked at the Harvard Center for European Studies at Harvard. She graduated with a M.Stud. in European Literature from the University of Oxford and a B.A. in European Cultural Studies from Brandeis University. In addition, she was a visiting student at Harvard University.

 

 

Mr. German Eichberger


Mr. Eichberger serves as a Software Engineer with Sony Online Entertainment and as a Lecturer at the University of California at San Diego Extension.  Previously, he served as a Senior Software Engineer at the University of California at San Diego, and as an information technology consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers.  Mr. Eichberger holds a M.Sc. in computing science from the Universität Karlsruhe. He also studied at the Politecnico di Torino in Italy.

 

 

Dr. Daniel J. Guhr


Prior to founding the Illuminate Consulting Group, Dr. Guhr served as a strategy consultant with the Boston Consulting Group and as a Director of Business Development with SAP in Silicon Valley.  He has been involved with numerous academic institutions, foundations, and grant giving bodies in the United States, Germany, the UK, and Australia.   Dr. Guhr holds a D.Phil. in Comparative Higher Education and a M.Sc. in Educational Research Methodology from Oxford University, as well as a M.A. in Political Science from Brandeis University.   He also trained at Bonn and Harvard Universities, the Center for Studies in Higher Education at UC Berkeley, and the Max-Planck-Institute for Human Studies in Berlin.

 

 

Mr. Hannes Klöpper

 

Mr. Klöpper studies for a Masters in Public Policy at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin.  He has served as an intern with a member of the European Parliament, the helios publishing house, and ICG.   Mr. Klöpper holds a B.A. in International Relations from the Technische Universität Dresden, spent one semester at the Université Robert Schuman in Strasbourg, and completed an Academy Year at the European College of Liberal Arts in Berlin.

 

 

Ms. Hildegard Mader


Mrs. Mader heads the International Study Center at the Universität Paderborn.  Previously, she served as the Director of the International Office at the Universität Freiburg and the Technische Universität in Dresden, was posted in Iraq and Egypt as a German Academic Exchange Service lector, and worked as an international relations advisor at the Kultusminister Konferenz.  She has been involved in international education with a focus on Middle Eastern issues. In addition, she served as counselor to the Socrates/Erasmus Program of the EU with a focus on ECTS issues.  Mrs. Mader holds an M.A. in Roman and German language and Oriental Studies from the Universität Tübingen, and a Diplôme d´Études Universitaires Générales from Université François-Rabelais Tours. She also studied at Bonn University.

 

 

Mr. Gurpreet Singh

 

Mr. Singh serves as the Manager, International and Development, in the Creative Industries Faculty at the Queensland University of Technology. Previously, he served as an International Relations Officer at the University of Auckland, and as a consultant with the governmental agency New Zealand Trade and Enterprises. Mr. Singh holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce and a Master's Degree in International Business from the University of Auckland.

 

 

Ms. Sonja Steinbrech


Ms. Steinbrech serves as the Assistant Director for Graduate Admissions and Marketing at the School of International Service at American University.  Her professional background includes work as a researcher at the American University in Washington, DC.  She has also worked as an International Program Development consultant at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, and has internship experience in the United States Senate.  Ms. Steinbrech holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Wyoming, and a M.A. in International Communication from the School of International Service at the American University.
